What would be the coldest-sounding language other than English be? (not a mistype, read description)?

Basically, I'm working on some multiverse-type fiction, and I'm coming up with a race from an alternate Earth. Basically, they come from the same Earth we do, but for some reason, their Earth entered a bad Ice Age as late as the 300s CE, which has affected their development, that their industrial technology is much cleaner than ours to maintain the cold, but they genetically engineered themselves with higher metabolisms. Anyhow, these guys, since the point-of-divergence is quite early, they may not have ended up speaking English. What would be some of the coldest-sounding languages from a native English speaker's view, in either the definition of 'the speakers came from a very cold country', or 'cold' as in the negative emotion context of that word? (If anyone says Icelandic without a valid reason, I'll just think those respondents are being smartasses)
